why i built this
A room built for people like us.
When I came to the UK in 2020, everyone around me was a care worker. That was the script: finish school, work, get your COS. I started a business, kept doing shifts to survive, and nearly lost it doing everything alone.
I rebuilt. My recruitment agency, Praise Healthcare, passed £255k in the first nine months of 2026 and won Business of the Year (SME) at the South Wales Business Awards 2026. Now I keep meeting nurses, carers and graduates who are capable of so much more. They aren’t lacking ability. They’re lacking the right information, the right environment and the right people.
